SWEDISH car maker Volvo ramping up the hype surrounding its low awaited new large SUV. The second generation XC90 is an important car for the firm, and it’s started the process by issuing pictures of the car’s interior. Former BMW AG designer Christopher Chapman has been named chief designer for Hyundai Motor America, effective Jan. 3. He will lead new vehicle and concept design at the Hyundai Design Center in Irvine, Calif.
